Rome Retail Therapy

I love going shopping, and by shopping I'm not talking the weekly food shop. I mean fun shopping; clothes, shoes, accessories... the good stuff!

Rome has a lot of different shops to offer and something to fit most budgets.

There's no way our budget currently allows me the privilege of high fashion designer brands but sometimes it's nice to pretend and have an Audrey Hepburn moment.

Designer Boutiques

If you're looking for Tiffany's and the other best of the best designer boutiques you'll be sure to want to visit Via Dei Condotti (known simply as Via Condotti) during your time in Rome.

One of the most expensive streets in Europe, Via Condotti is packed with a wide variety of designer boutiques. Luckily for the non rich and famous window shopping costs nothing.

Talking of the rich and famous, as the can imagine, it's not uncommon to see celebrities shopping on Via Condotti. Granted, the usually end up closing the store to the general public during their shopping trip but you might get the chance to see them coming in and out.

Via Condotti is located at the base of the steps in Piazza Di Spagna and runs down to connect with Via Del Corso (another shopping street but with a bit more main stream shops mixed in).

The nearest Metro is Spagna on the orange A line.

Unleash Your Inner Fashionista

Home to big names like; Prada, Dior, Cartier, Bvlgari, Louis Vuitton, Giorgio Armani, Rolex, Gucci, Max Mara, Jimmy Choo and more, Via Condotti offers great inspiration for any fashionista.

As you might expect, some of the window displays can be quite impressive. Dior in particular usually has eye catching designs. Currently they have animals made out of shells as part of their decor.
